Walking for A Cure
Help Support Carter's Crew
We invite you to support your Garden Crossings team (Carter's Crew) in the "Walk For A Cure" to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Online donation can be made at the JDRF website!
Another year has passed and I am still praying for a cure for Diabetes!
I am 10 years old now, and this is my 6th year living with diabetes and it is never easy. I have had a good year and for that I am thankful! But, it sure would be nice if I did not have to poke my finger 7 times a day to make sure my blood sugar is good. It sure would be nice to not have to count carbs for everything I put in my mouth. It sure would be nice to not have to remember to give myself medicine everytime I eat. I know that these are all things that I have to do though to stay healthy, so I continue to do them. Having my insulin pump makes some of these things easier.
On Saturday, Septemeber 15, my family and friends will be walking at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in Grand Rapids to raise money to find a cure for diabetes. Last year we had 26 people join our walk team, together we raised over $7,790 for JDRF!!! That would not have been possible without the generous donations from you, our family and friends! THANK YOU!!!
This year we would once again like to ask you for your support.

Business Support: Once again this year, for a minimum donation of $250,(any donation amount is appreciated) we will advertise your business on the back of our walk shirts. We look forward to and thank you for your support!!! (please send donation by 8/19 so we have time to get the shirts printed)
