4 1/4 Inch Pot

In our 4 1/4″ round pot, we grow all of our Proven Winners® and Proven Selections® annuals. Our 4 1/4″ pot has a dry volume of 1.57 pints or 742 milliliters. We added this size for the spring of 2007. It is an excellent size for creating your own hanging baskets or combination pots. This size can also be planted directly into the ground. If you are the creative gardener and want to put your own combo plantings together, then this size is for you.

5 Inch Pot

Our 5″ square pot is by far our best selling size. We grow all of our clematis, perennials and shrubs in this size. Our 5″ pot has a dry volume of 1.50 quarts or 1.43 liters. This is the size that all of our existing customers are familiar with. We have been growing this size for a number of years now. This size has proven to be an excellent selection when planted directly into the garden or landscape. The plants in this size are all at least two years old. If you are planting a new garden or just adding to an existing one this is an excellent size to select.

10 Inch Pot

Our 10″ round pot is one of the larger sizes we grow. We grow some of our perennials and shrubs in this size pot. Our 10″ pot has a dry volume of 1.92 gallons or 7.40 liters. This size is meant to offer that instant garden as quickly as possible. This size holds 4 times the soil volume and the plants are usually three years old. We have received many wonderful comments on this size. Remember if you have lost a mature plant in your garden or landscape and need something to replace it and not look out of place, then this size is for you.

2 Gallon Pot

We grow many of our Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrubs in our 2 gallon pot. This size is also known as a #2 pot in some states. The dry volume of this pot is 1.5 gallons or 5.678 liters. The plants in this size pot are usually three years old. This pot is a little smaller than our 10″ pot but are very close in size. The main difference is that only the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrubs are grown and sold in this pot. You will get a very well established shrub in this size pot. If you are looking to design a large combination container, with a flowering shrub, this is the size to use.

3 Gallon Pot

Our biggest size is our 3 gallon pot or also known as a #3 pot. Again, only the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrubs are grown in this size pot. The dry volume of this pot is 3.0 gallon or 11.35 liters. The plants in this size pot are over three years old and depending on the time of year maybe approaching 3 feet tall. This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a flowering shrub that is already well established. This size will just explode in your garden or landscapes.
