Daredevil® Orchid

Be daring and step away from your normal, Proven Winners® has introduced Daredevil® geraniums a new and improved line in the Pelargonium (Geranium) family. Bred to meet and exceed your expectations, the excellent habit, uniform growth, and extra large flower heads make this your geranium of choice. They also have excellent features like: drought tolerant, many colors to choose from, and large flower presence. With their endless blooms, these excellent growers will give you constant color all season long.

To keep your plants looking beautiful all season long we do recommend fertilizing with Proven Winners® Premium Water Soluble Plant Food, or a brand of your choice. Our recommendation is to fertilize at least every other week for baskets and planters, ground plantings can go longer between feedings and for that we recommend  Proven Winners® Premium Continuous Release Plant Food or your brand of choice. You may occasionally give your petunias a trim to encourage more branching which leads to increased blooms. This may be done with a scissors, or trimming shears.

Maintenance Tips:

To keep your Daredevil® Geraniums blooming, it is recommended to deadhead the flowers as they start to wither. Daredevil® does well planted in either the ground or in containers and baskets. We recommend to keep them well watered especially when in baskets where they can dry out faster.  They will do best in sunny locations. They are generally easy care with little to no maintenance, other than watering as necessary and deadheading as needed. 

A yearly application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.
