Your complete satisfaction is our #1 goal. Garden Crossings understands that your success begins with our attention to detail and top quality plants. We are dedicated to offering the largest, high quality plants which are ready to flourish in their new home, your garden. This is why we ship actively growing plants which are much larger than most other mail order sources. Plus, we actually grow and ship many of the plants ourselves unlike many other "garden companies". Our reputation for size and quality has given us one of the top customer satisfaction ratings at Dave's Garden!
Quality or Shortage Claims: We guarantee all of our plants to be correctly packaged, arrive in good condition and to be accurately labeled. If you are not completely satisfied with any of our products upon arrival, please let us know. We will either issue you a credit, which can be used toward your next order with us, or refund your credit card. Please notify us within 72 hours of the receipt of your package.
Transit Damages: Even though we feel our packaging is one of the best in the industry, occasionally some orders do get damaged in transit. If you do receive an order that appears to be damaged by the carrier, please let us know as within 24 hours of the receipt of your shipment, so we can file a claim accordingly.
Customer Pick-Ups: We encourage our local customers to pickup their orders to save on the packaging and shipping charges. In order for us to have your order ready and waiting, please notify us at least a day prior to picking up. Upon pickup please take a moment to review your paperwork and plant quality prior to leaving. We can better help you solve any problems prior to leaving our Garden Center. Claims for quality and shortage upon leaving maybe rejected.
The Nature of Our Business: Due to mother nature and situations beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible once our product is in your care. We do not want to see you fail, so please feel free to contact us via email with the problems you are having and we will try to guide you through the situation as best we can. We will never be held responsible for any monetary value in excess to the amount of your order.
Please send us an email of your claim or make sure you leave us a message if our customer service is unavailable. Photos or digital images maybe required to process your claim. Failure to notify us within the above time frames could lead to a rejection of your claim. Remember it is always better to notify us of a problem right away so we can assist with a resolution or make a note on your order for a later resolution.

We ship all our plants via Fed-Ex Home Delivery (Ground) service. We are able to ship to the continental 48 states and the District of Columbia. Note that we are not able to ship to a P.O. Box, so please provide an accurate street address when ordering.
Our shipping season begins in April and continues through October. If orders are received out of season, we will hold the order and ship it at your appropriate planting time. In spring, we begin shipping to southern zones first and are usually shipping to all states by late May. See the chart below for estimated ship week information (weather permitting).

All orders are shipped via ground service (unless otherwise noted) until late June. To avoid plant stress orders are shipped via ground to one to three day transit points during July and August and then resume shipping ground service to all areas in early September. For shipments which have a transit time greater than three days, 3 day express service is available or you can select a ship date in September. Generally, plants that are in season will usually be shipped within a week after your order is received unless otherwise noted.
If you would like to specify a specific ship week for your order, please let us know by selected the ship week during checkout. We will do our best to meet your requests.
Security and safety of our customer's personal information is one of our top priorities. When you send an online order, your order information and credit card information will be encrypted by our secure servers and virtually impossible for any third party to access.
