(Clematis) Clematis 'Fireworks' explodes into color with beautiful 8" bluish purple flowers with glowing cerise central bars. The petals have a slight twist to them and are slightly recurved at the tips. Reblooms again in late summer with smaller 6" flowers. Best if grown in a protected area to prevent wind damage to the very large flowers. An outstanding variety with a vigorous growth habit. Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Merit.
