(Sweet Flag - Variegated) Acorus gramineus 'Ogon' has bright gold foliage which is nicely accented with green stripes. A maintenance free perennial that grows well in sun or shade. Thrives in moist to moderately moist soil conditions. Can also be grown as a water plant in your garden pond!

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Acorus prefers to grow in areas where the soil is acidic but fertile and has consistent moisture. It will even grow in water up to 5" deep. If the soil dries out the tips of the Acorus leaves will tend to burn. Propagation is by division.
