Agastache foeniculum 'Golden Jubilee' Common Name: “Hyssop”
(Hyssop) Agastache 'Golden Jubilee' has stunning chartreuse Coleus-like foliage which makes a vivid contrast to the bright bluish-purple bottlebrush flowers in mid summer. Compact and bushy habit with new leaves emerging a golden chartreuse and eventually aging to lime green. Wonderfully fragrant, licorice scented foliage! Prefers well-drained soil. 2002 Fleuroselect Award winner!
Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
Agastache is native to the southwest US and Mexico. It grows well in slightly alkaline soils. The most essential aspect is good drainage. This plant will NOT tolerate wet soil, especially in the winter. It is naturally heat and drought tolerant. It is cherished by herb gardeners for it scented foliage and edible flowers. Propagation is by stem cuttings or division.
