(Elderberry) Sambucus Black Lace™ is perhaps the coolest new plant on the market! This new Sambucus looks more like a Japanese maple or a Cimicifuga but it is a whole lot easier to grow. The lacy, intense purple-black foliage offers unique texture to the garden and provides season long interest. In midsummer, massive clusters of pink flowers cover the plant and emit a light lemon fragrance. The flowers are a wonderful contrast to the dark foliage. Sambucus Black Lace™ is extremely durable and an excellent grower!
