(Clematis) Probably the most popular red Clematis on the market today. 'Niobe' is known for its velvety, ruby reddish-black flowers that mature to a deep wine red with age. The 6" flowers are very ubundant in late spring and again in early autumn. It's also an excellent variety for containers or cut flowers. Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
