(False Indigo) Baptisia Twilite Prairieblues™ is a vigorous and strong growing hybrid of Baptisa australis and Baptisia sphaerocarpa. This new color breakthrough is the result of extensive breeding efforts at the Chicago Botanical Garden. By the third year Twilite Prarieblues™ produces almost 100 flower spikes of unique deep violet-purple flowers highlighted by a lemon-yellow keel. Held above the handsome blue-green foliage, the inflorescences can be up to 32 inches long!
