Heuchera hybrid 'Amethyst Myst'

(Coral Bells) Heuchera 'Amethyst Myst' is a totally new shade of purple compared to other heucheras. This new selection has blackish-purple leaves with a silvery-blue overlay and extensive black veining. The plant seems to glow with an "amethyst mist" from a distance, the characteristic for which it is named. The new foliage is deep maroon-purple and all leaves have rich royal purple undersides. Tiny cream-colored flowers appear on 26 inch scapes, but Heuchera 'Amethyst Myst' is grown mainly for its foliage.
