I had no problem with mine. I believe you may have too much moisture.

Since echinacea is originally wild, I would suggest just trying to direct sow them in your garden area. I would say this is your best bet. Good luck.

I have been trying to start echinacea seeds. I have planted in planting medium. The seeds germinate but then wilt off. Is there a secret to starting them? They are seeds from a friend who got them from the prairie.
