(Oriental Poppy) Beautiful, bright, salmon-pink blooms will create a spectacular display in your perennial garden. Papaver 'Queen Alexander' has 4 to 5 inch wide flowers that appear on strong stems from late spring thru early summer. The petals of 'Queen Alexander' have a crepe-paper appearance with a very soft texture and a large black seed capsule center, surrounded by dark purple stamens. These perennials are best planted near other plants since they will go dormant after completing their bloom cycle.
