Clematis 'Blue Light®'

Common Name: “Clematis”

Clematis 'Blue Light®'

See what our great customers had to say about the Clematis 'Blue Light®'.

Teena P.'s Review
Location: Bowie, MD
Hardiness Zone: 6

This is the most spectacular of all Clematis. Big 5" flowers, Violet Blue with a green center - opens like regular clematis, then the outside petals fall off, and te inside grows bigger and bigger to develop another full flower.
The color is magical and unbelievable.
Keep the base of plant shaded and moist, then it likes full sun. Shade gets you less flowers-and you'll want every one of these. Cut to 30 inches first year and 60 inces second year for strong plant. Protect base from rabbits. Needs tiny wire 1/4 inch to wrap on. Forget the others - buy 4 of these for a spectacular display. Add moonflower vine and blue morning glory vine to just knock your socks off!! Add honeysuckle vine to add scent.

Customer Rating:
Flower color may vary due to environment

(Clematis) Wow! This exceptional Clematis boasts fully double 5-6" flowers of violet blue. Blue Light is an exceptionally free flowering variety and a nice compact grower. Perfect size for an impressive container planting! Enjoy the blooms in late spring through early summer and then again from late summer until Fall!
