Amsonia hubrichtii
Amsonia
See what our great customers had to say about the Amsonia hubrichtii .
This plant is a very fine leafed plant (similar to Moonbeam Coreopsis) - it does not seem to tolerate the heat very well. During the first year the plant has only grown to about 12" tall and 4" wide. We will see what the cooler weather of fall brings.
(Blue Star) Amsonia hubrictii is a spectacular perennial with soft, needle-like leaves that line the stems like bottlebrushes. The deer resistant foliage forms a perfect mound and turns bright gold in the fall. Hundreds of small, light blue, star-shaped flowers adorn Amsonia hubrictii in late spring through early summer. Looks beautiful as a perennial hedge!
