This plant has yet to be reviewed.

(Blue Mist Shrub) Caryopteris Sunshine Blue is an exciting new variegated selection that will add brilliance to the garden all season long with its green and bright yellow leaves that won't melt out in the hot summer sun. It forms a showy, compact, shrubby mound that is suitable for very large containers or the back of the border. Periwinkle blue flowers are produced in clusters on the upper portion of the stems from midsummer to early fall. They make excellent cut flowers, lasting for weeks in a vase.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
Caryopteris grows best in full sun and loose, loamy, well-drained soil. It is very tolerant of heat and drought and detests wet soil. Flowers are formed on new growth, so the stems can be cut back at any time. In fact, the best time to prune caryopteris is just after the new growth starts to appear in spring. Fall pruning is not recommended.
