In 1998 we were acquired by International Garden Products (IGP), and continue to thrive under the guidance of Chris Colasono, our General Manager. Today, Skagit Gardens has two locations with over 50 acres, the original main location, and Riverbend, our perennial growing grounds. Our production facilities include 9.2 acres of covered greenhouse area. We are located midway between Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia, in the beautiful Skagit Valley, with a temperate maritime climate well suited for growing perennials. Temperatures get cold enough in winter to vernalize the plants, but most of the year the weather is mild, with cool nights even in the summer.
