(Hyssop) Agastache 'Golden Jubilee' has stunning chartreuse Coleus-like foliage that makes a vivid contrast to the bright bluish-purple bottlebrush flowers in midsummer. Its new leaves emerge golden chartreuse and eventually age to lime green. 'Golden Jubilee' has wonderfully fragrant, licorice-scented foliage with a compact and bushy habit! Prefers well-drained soil. 2002 FleuroSelect Award winner!

Agastache is native to the southwest US and Mexico. It grows well in slightly alkaline soils. The most essential aspect is good drainage. This plant will NOT tolerate wet soil, especially in the winter. It is naturally heat and drought tolerant. It is cherished by herb gardeners for it scented foliage and edible flowers. Propagation is by stem cuttings or division.
