Wonderfully free flowering plants that bloom in late spring and again in late summer. Its compact habit makes 'Dr. Ruppel' one of the best for container growing. Also known for its large attractive spherical seed heads. A good cut flower variety. Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
