(Clematis) Clematis 'Niobe' is known for its velvety, ruby reddish-black flowers that mature to a deep wine red with age. The 6" flowers are very abundant in late spring and again in early autumn. Probably the most popular red Clematis on the market today. 'Niobe' is an excellent variety for containers or cut flowers. Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
