This is my favorite clematis of all time. I grow several different varieties and love them all but this one is simply gorgeous.
(Clematis) Clematis 'Ville de Lyon' is a vigorous free-flowering cultivar that will certainly attract attention to your landscape. The velvety, cherry-red 6" flowers are made up of perfectly formed, overlapping petals with deep pink central bars. Nicely contrasting yellow anthers complete the look. 'Ville de Lyon' reblooms in early autumn.
