(Clematis) Clematis macropetala 'Blue' blooms early in the season from April through May and is followed with attractive silky seed heads. The lavender-blue nodding flowers are very free flowering and absolutely beautiful! A very hardy cultivar that grows well in partial shade or sun and can also be used as a ground cover.
