Big Bang™ Series Coreopsis 'Full Moon' PP19,364
See what our great customers had to say about the Big Bang™ Series Coreopsis 'Full Moon'.
The color is tremendous, a flourescent kind of lemon yellow. The blooms are only half as large as claimed, but there are plenty of them so it makes a real show. I don't like the look of spent blooms, so I deadhead which is a little time consuming. I also staked it cause it's floppy. My soil is very sandy and acidic, and the plant is in full sun. That said, it's well worth the work and I'll be glad to keep it if it deigns to return next year.
It's my favorite! I have this growing on the hottest, driest bank, and it blooms its head off from midsummer til a hard frost. Has spent two winters with me, and looks fabulous. Only thing I did was to make sure it was well-watered the first season.
Planted this last spring. Amazing display of flowers: started late (June-July) then overwhelming display until after frost. Can't wait to see how it does in year 2. Most impressive Coreopsis I have ever grown.
(Tickseed) Big Bang™ Series Coreopsis 'Full Moon' PP19,364 is being introduced as the first plant in the Big Bang™ series, after years of breeding several different species. This exciting new variety exhibits disease resistant foliage that is topped with hundreds of huge 3 inch canary-yellow flowers. Coreopsis has long been a favorite in perennial gardens and this new hybrid could be the best one ever! Big Bang™ Series Coreopsis 'Full Moon' PP19,364 makes an impressive mound of color from midsummer until frost.
