(Cheddar Pinks) Dianthus 'Firewitch' is the 2006 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year! Only the best of the best perennials are worthy of achieving this honor. 'Firewitch' produces masses of shocking magenta-pink blossoms over low, silvery-blue mats of evergreen foliage. The flowers have a spicy clove scent and have petals with unique serrated edges. It blooms heaviest in early summer and often flowers again in the fall.
