I wanted to add to my previous review. This plant bloomed all summer from June until the fall. It is bloomiing again this year and seems to be better than last year so far. I did not expect this plant to survive the winter here but it is thriving beautifully. I love this plant.

I ordered 2 of these beautiful plants for the first time last spring. How did I live without them? They arrived happpy and healthy, and continued to thrive throughout the season. They are the most beautiful flowering plant I have ever had. My new favorite by far. These are delicate looking plants but they were very hardy and grew more than I expected for the partly sunny location I needed them for. The specifications are for full sun so I can just imagine how well they would have done if planted accordingly. What a beautiful work horse this plant turned out to be. I can't imagine being without them from now on.

Customer Rating:

(Butterfly Flower) Karalee® Petite Pink Guara has airy wands of pink flowers that hover like butterflies over dark green to burgundy foliage. Karalee® Petite Pink blooms all summer long.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Each flowering stem adds blooms, continuously to the end of the spike. As time goes on, the flowering stems can get rather long and tangled. Although deadheading isn't necessary for continued blooming you may find that you prefer to trim back some of the flowering stems at some point in mid-summer. This will encourage new flowering stems to emerge. Flowers will be closer to the foliage and the plant will look tidier. If you choose, you can trim all the flower stems off at once, hosever, you should then expect a 2 to 3 week period without flowers.
