Heuchera x villosa 'Citronelle' PP17,934
Heuchera 'Citronelle' PP17,934
See what our great customers had to say about the Heuchera x villosa 'Citronelle'.
This coral bell has strikingly bright citron yellow leaves. The contrast is beautiful against darker foliage and mulch. It seems to be sun tolerant in Zone 6. I'm thrilled with this purchase and the quality of the plants that arrived at my door in great condition.
A Nursery I worked at in Phoenix, AZ, Zone 9, carried this. I was amazed that it could take morning sun. If it grows like the species I expect it will have huge leaves by midsummer! Now I am scouring the Valley looking for it. I have seen photos of the flowers which also looked citron yellow.
(Coral Bells) Heuchera 'Citronelle' PP17,9 is a flashy new sport of Heuchera 'Caramel'. The large lobed leaves are a striking lime-yellow color that will definitely draw attention in the garden! Since it is a villosa type, 'Citronelle' PP17,934 is a strong grower and sun tolerant. The creamy white flowers in mid-late summer are an added bonus, but this hot new Heuchera is worthy of planting just for the foliage alone! Very unusual and striking!
