This breakthrough in leaf pattern has dark-green leaves surrounded by wide creamy-white margins which are unusually speckled with green. The speckled margins of 'Independence' are very intriguing and are sure to make anyone stop to take a closer look. Large, light-lavender flowers appear in mid summer.
