(Big Leaf Hydrangea) Hydrangea 'Cityline™ Berlin' is a knockout new dwarf Hydrangea with compact foliage that will never need pruning to maintain a neat and tidy habit! The bright fuchsia colored flowers are very large and held on sturdy stems that do not flop. Cityline™ Hydrangeas are a dwarf macrophylla type which blooms on the old wood. A strong grower with excellent mildew resistance!

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
Hydrangea 'Cityline™ Berlin' prefers well-drained soil that has been amended with peat moss, leaf mold or compost. Flourishes by the ocean. Prune immediately after flowering, blooms on old wood. Sets flower buds the summer prior to blooming. Prefers high moisture, moisture is a necessity for this plant. Deciduous shrub. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Follow the label for the recommended rate of application. Flower color is affected by pH. For blue flowers, the soil must be more acidic and for pink flowers the soil must be more alkaline.
