Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
Hydrangea Pink Shira™ ~Plant in well-drained moist soil. Prune right after bloom because it sets bud in the fall on old wood. Needs high moisture. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. Flower color is affected by pH. For blue flowers, the soil must be more acidic and for pink flowers soil must be more alkaline.
