I was impressed when I viewed this at a local trial garden. The scent was wonderful.

(English Lavender) Fill your hot, dry, sunny areas with this fragrant 2008 Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner! From midsummer through early fall, concentrated purple-blue blossoms top full mounds of silver-green foliage. Lavandula 'Ellagance Purple' would make a dramatic mass planting or border and is an excellent attraction for butterflies.
