(USDA Organic) Tomato 'Cherokee Purple' was originally passed down from the Cherokee tribe of Native Americans. 'Cherokee Purple' is a reliable producer of medium purple-brown fruits with darker shoulders. Fruits are round to oblong with no cracking and average 8 to 12 oz. This heirloom exhibits tolerance to mild drought as well as to common diseases.
