(Yarrow) Compact and heavy flowering are two of the best traits of New Vintage™ Red Achillea. Standing 12-14 inches tall New Vintage™ Red has a nice upright mounding habit that is less likely to flop in the rain. New Vintage™ Red produces large clusters of tiny magenta red flowers that hold their color for weeks and as they age the color deepens. The deep green foliage is a great backdrop for the flowers that set nicely above the mound in early summer. To encourage repeat blooming we recommend that you trim your plant back after the blooms are spent. Achillea New Vintage™ Red is a drought tolerant plant that prefers to be grown in full sun locations. A beautiful choice for both cut and dried arrangements.
