Common Name: “Hyssop”

(Hyssop) Agastache 'Summer Sunset' is just as beautiful as an evening summer sky. The large and bright orange-flower wands complement the dark-green foliage of this compact, upright perennial. Blooming from June until fall, 'Summer Sunset' perennial plants give you 'scent'sational color all season long. The Anise mint scent is an added bonus along with the natural attraction of hummingbirds and butterflies. Agastache is a drought-tolerant plant once established. Deer stay clear from this plant due to its lovely, aromatic foliage.

This naturally heat- and drought-tolerant plant doesn’t live in wet soil, especially during the winter. It is cherished by garden enthusiasts for its scented foliage and edible flowers. Propagate by cutting or dividing the stems.
