Common Name: “Golden aralia”

(Golden aralia) Aralia 'Sun King' is a beautiful foliage plant for part shade to full shade locations. The chartusse multi petaled branches fan out making an airy looking perennial. 'Sun King' produces white flowers in late summer followed by purple berries in the fall/winter. Aralia makes for a nice choice for combination planters and in the landscape. 'Sun King' prefers to be grown in good deep loam that is moist but has good drainage. It is an excellent choice for height and drama in the shade garden.
