Donna S's Review
Location: Lebanon, TN
Hardiness Zone: 1

This is a terrific clematis that blooms on old and new wood. I will admit - my blooms look much nicer than what is shown online so folks - do not be timid about this clematis. I planted 3 to cover a trellis that is about 24" wide.
Why I like it? The flowers last a LONG time. My flowers have been on the vine now for 4 weeks... the outside petals have dropped and the flower looks like a totally fresh and new bloom 'of a different type.' It is gorgeous and has done well. This is the plant is a natural climber and is striking placed at the end of my patio receiving midday sun.

Bought this clematis just over a month ago and it's in bloom now - will have to move its location because it's reaching out for the morning sun. Prices are terrific and the plants arrive in excellent condition.

Clematis Growing Tips:

Clematis Prune Group 2 - These cultivars produce early season bloom on the previous season's growth and late season flowers on new growth. Generally, these cultivars are only pruned to shape. In the early spring (February or March), prune them lightly above the first pair of new swollen leaf buds, removing about 12 inches from each shoot. Also remove any dead or weak stems at this time.
