(Coneflower) Another great introduction from ItSaul Plants, the Big Sky™ series has just got bigger. The newest introduction, 'Solar Flare' is something big to talk about. The large 5-6" blooms are as close to red as you will see in the Echinacea family as of now. The colors of 'Solar Flare' show a deep magenta red with red being the dominant color, and purple underside. As the flowers age a rose color appears. The large, highly fragrant blooms are held up by dark, almost black sturdy stems. 'Solar Flare' is a native variety in the US, attracting butterflies and songbirds.
