See what our great customers had to say about the Heuchera villosa 'Caramel'
Here in Zone 7, this plant needs lots of shade, but in the right spot, it is a stand out. Every leaf is a different color, from spring green to deep caramel, and a mature plant has dozens of them in a generous mound. A real eye-catcher and nicely hardy.
I've planted "Caramel" on the northside of our house amongst tall grasses. It does not get tender care but it sure thrives all on its own. I love the color and how easy it is to grow.
Love this Heuchera! Have had several in a part-sun location for years. They are huge & healthy, even tho' the soil on this hillside has a fair bit of clay & stones in it. Planted 3 least year in a full sun location. They struggled a bit last year, but have come back strong this spring.
(Coral Bells) Heuchera 'Caramel' PP16,560 is a vigorous new selection with glowing caramel-orange leaves with rounded lobes. Foliage has a soft texture and forms a perfect mound. The sprays of tiny, white flowers are produced on wispy stems in early-mid summer and rebloom well if deadheaded. 'Caramel' PP16,560 is also deer resistant! Very unusual!
