(Hosta) Hosta 'Americana' is an exciting wide-margined sport of Hosta 'Loyalist'. The thick, waxy leaves display deep green margins that streak into the narrow white centers. 'Americana' is an excellent medium size hosta that exhibits good slug resistance. Pale lavender flowers appear in mid summer.
