(Hosta) A whirlwind of bright color attracts your attention to Hosta ‘Ripple Effect’. A sport of ‘June’, this unique hosta has long, narrow, wavy, gold leaves of good substance. The newly emerged leaves of ‘Ripple Effect’ have narrow blue-green margins that sporadically jet toward golden yellow centers. Summer foliage transitions to chartreuse with green margins. ‘Ripple Effect’ forms a low horizontal mounding habit and produces pale lavender flowers on light lavender to chartreuse scapes in mid to late summer.
