There's no rating too high for this tried and true favorite. Tough as nails. Survives neglect. Shrugs off clay. And then give you lush, flowing grass with long-lasting flower spikes. Slow spreader, not invasive.

Common Name: “Lily Turf”

(Lily-turf-Blue) Liriope 'Big Blue' is a distinctive, grass-like evergreen that will bloom with lilac-purple flowers in late summer and they will remind you of grape hyacinths. The clump-forming foliage has fountain-like, dark green, strappy leaves and is a low maintenance perennial. 'Big Blue' can be used in containers as well as in the landscape and is drought tolerant.
