(New Guinea Impatiens) RUFFLES™ Red Impatiens have large semi double ruffled petals. Deep, vibrant red colored flowers contrast nicely against the dark green foliage. The RUFFLES™ series are a vigorous growing New Guinea Impatiens, bred and selected for superior landscape performance and resistance to downey mildew. New Guineas are a great choice for shade to part shade locations adding a nice splash of continuous color, growing 8-14 inches tall and wide. Forming a mounded habit, RUFFLES™ Red makes a great thriller plant for hanging baskets, patio containers, and excellent landscape borders. New Guineas do not require deadheading and are an easy to care for variety, as long as they are watered well. If they do dry out, be sure to water them right away as they should bounce back.
