Hardy in zones 3-8, 'Issai' Kiwi grows up to 20 feet tall. We recommend building a trellis or support for your fast growing vine soon after it is planted. Generally it takes 2-3 years to start producing fruit, once established it has been said to produce over 100 pounds of sweet fruit in a season. Fruit is ready to harvest in late summer. Enjoy the beautiful white flowers of 'Issai' Kiwi in early summer. Planted in full sun to part shade in loamy to normal soil is recommended.
