(Cauliflower)Looking for something 'different' to grow this year? 'Veronica Romanesco' Cauliflower is nothing short of a conversation piece. The Spiky looking florettes are lime green color that stays even after it is cooked. Veronica is an 'Italian' Veronica that has a sweeter and milder flavor than regular cauliflower. This conversation piece can be eaten raw, cooked or pickled. It is recommended to pick when heads are still on the smaller side for the best flavor. 'Veronica Romanesco' prefers to be grown in a full sun location and needs to be well watered and fed. Cauliflower does need to be 'shaded' from the hot heat of the summer, to do so wrap the leaves up and around the head of the plant. Harvest when the head of ' Veronica Romanesco' is tight and dense. We recommend giving this variety a try. - More Info
