Enjoy the heat of Tabasco! Growing 2 inches long, the heat is packed into Pepper Tabasco! The main ingredient in Tabasco Sauce, this great flavored pepper has some kick. These small peppers are easy to grow either in your garden or in a patio planter. Tabasco Peppers start off green, orange and then are fully ripe when red. Peppers are best grown in a full sun location and prefer a moist location. Pepper plants can easily be damaged so use gentle care when harvesting, we recommend using a sharp snippers. Handle hot peppers with care, we recommend using a latex glove for protection and never put your hands near your face after picking. The chemical that makes a pepper hot is a volatile oil that can burn your hands.
