(Raspberry) Rubus 'Heritage' is a widely planted everbearing variety that is favored for fruit size, flavor and firmness. 'Heritage' bears a moderate early crop with heavy yields in late summer and fall. A strong and productive plant, it spreads fast. Rubus 'Heritage' is an excellent variety for the home gardener. Weak canes should be trimmed out in the spring to encourage stronger yield. After the first harvest in the spring, those canes should be pruned off to allow new growth for the next round of berries that come in late summer. Rubus 'Heritage' will perform best in full sun with good drainage. Plants will grow 3 to 4 feet tall with a 3 to 4 feet spread.

Overwhelmed Review by Betty | Zone: 5b
I planted 4 bushes 1 1/2 yrs. ago. Beautiful picking this past spring, then totally overwhelmed this fall. My freezer is full of muffins, bread, and loose berries. (Posted on 10/11/2010)
Great Flavor Review by Pat | Zone: 5
The fruit from this plant proved to be just as stated. Nice large, firm fruit with great flavor. (Posted on 6/7/2009)
