Enjoy a splash of color in your vegetable gardens as well as annual gardens! Swiss Chard ‘Bright Lights’ is just as beautiful to plant as it is to eat. The mildly flavored stems come in a rainbow of colors! The leaves are a bronze to dark green color; we recommend picking the leaves young for the best favor. Swiss Chard ‘Bright Lights’ adds interest to your garden salad with a splash of color and a tender texture. Chard prefers to be grown in a full sun location although it can tolerate part shade. Water often for best results. When you are ready to harvest, we recommend picking a few of the mature leaves from the outside; you may want to plant several of these if feeding more than 1 or 2. The plant should continue to grow all summer and into the fall with some protection. Swiss chard does not hold for very long so we recommend harvesting it as you are ready to eat it.

Dear Heidi, your bright lights were spectacular. They arrived in perfect shape. They were so large I was shocked. They are healthy and doing so well. I am wintering them over in my sunroom. It gets all 6 hours of light.
It is always an honor to do business with those who know gardening as well as your family.
