(Tomato- Cherry)Be the first to have garden fresh tomatoes in your neighborhood! '42 Days' heirloom tomatoes are bright red in color, and are ripe weeks before other varieties. Packed full of nutrition, '42 Days' produces 1 ounce, bright red fruit that are sweet and have excellent flavor. '42 Days' is great in all areas of the country but are nice for areas that have shorter growing seasons or for southern gardeners who can harvets before insects become an issue. With its cascading habit '42 Days' is a great selection for patio containers and hanging planters. If planting in the garden, we recommend staking or caging to keep the high yield of fruit off the ground. Tomatoes prefer to be grown in a full sun location and receive adequate water. Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer once the fruiting begins. Cherry tomatoes can be harvested at the first sign of color, or for best taste wait until they ripen fully on the vine. Tomatoes can be stored on the counter for a few days until they ripen. You can place them in the refrigerator to slow down the ripening process. '42 Days' cherry tomatoes are great for salads, snacking, party trays, or equally as good grilled or stewed.
