(Aster - New York) Aster 'Wood's Purple' displays nice, compact mounds of purple, which make this an excellent plant for late season color. In late summer, each plant is covered with hundreds of 1" daisy-like flowers that put on a spectacular show throughout fall. The healthy, dark green foliage is very resistant to mildew. 'Wood's Purple' also attracts butterflies!
