Description

Details

(Brunnera) 'Alexander's Great' Brunnera is a true show-stopper for any shade garden. The beautiful heart shaped leaves are heavily silvered with dark green veins showing through. Dainty, blue, Forget-Me-Not-Like flowers dance over the distinct foliage in early spring. The sheer size of 'Alexander's Great' is most intriguing, standing 17 inches tall and 30 inches wide, this plant surely stands up to its name. Compared to ever popular 'Jack Frost', 'Alexander's Great' has much larger leaves and creates a much larger plant. 'Alexander's Great' Brunnera prefers well-drained, moist soils in a part shade to full shade location. Provide afternoon shade as the leaves tend to scorch in the hot mid-day sun. An excellent woodland garden specimen, you can also enjoy this variety in your shade borders, as a ground cover, or in containers. It is also a deer resistant choice!
