(Clematis) Empress™ Clematis is a charming clematis that will leave a great impression of mauveish pink blooms. This vine produces large flowers that have pink petals with darker pink center bars. The inner petals sprout spiky pink "hair" that as the flower ages open up to a large clump. Empress™ Clematis blooms from May through June off of teh previous seasons growth abd then again in August from the new growth. Standing 6 foot tall, Empress™ is a compact, free-flowering plant that displays well in containers as well as on trellis applications.

Awesome! Review by Ron B | Zone: 6a
AWESOME! This grew 5' in the first year and produced some huge blossoms. I have it climbing a street sign pole wrapped with chicken fence (painted black). (Posted on 1/13/2012)
